100 words about my Design

My design was inspired by the movement of ocean waves and the colours and the shape/form of coloured pencil tips. The final movement will look like something out a Charlie in the Chocolate Factory movie, as a sea of a candy which comes not only from the floor upwards but also down from above to almost meet in the middle. Occasionally when the tips do meet it will result in those two pyramids exploding, creating an easier way of moving through the design. The exploded pieces will float around within the design as if they were floating in water.

I tried doing another fully textured rendering of my scene but this took a very long time to do and even though I am happy with the result I don't have time to wait for all my scenes to render perfectly with this textured version.

I tried the second view using the four colours I tried earlier but with this HDR environment the final rendering is too dark and not enough of the image can be seen.

I decided to wait for the image to render when it was covered in the original textures I had chosen. I do like the result of this but it is not really practical to be waiting that long for my images to render.

I tried using the same image but with a different HDR environment to see how it turned out but the result was quite dark and not all of the colours were very visible.

To try and make my rendered image more visually appealing I changed the colours of the pyramids so that they were either blue, green, yellow or pink. I also made them slightly transparent so that it would add a new dimension to my rendered image.

As my images were taking so long to render I decided to try and simplify the colours and take out the textures so that it would render faster. This means that the final rendering is much simplier and not as aesthetically pleasing.
